Helping you get to a dryer lifestyle
For Hyperhidrosis
The Dermatology Life Quality Index Survey
It's no secret. Primary hyperhidrosis can significantly impact quality of life to varying extents. But how do we measure the degree to which it interferes? The Dermatology Life Quality Index* (DLQI) survey was developed specifically for assessing how hyperhidrosis affects an individual's overall quality of life.

Your Score
As you take the survey, keep track of your score for each question using the following scale:
If you answer,
"Very much": 3 points; "A lot": 2 points; "A little": 1 point; "Not at all" or "Not relevant": 0 points. Question 7, “prevented work or studying”: 3 points.
The DLQI is calculated by adding the scores. Your score will be out of a maximum of 30 points. The higher the score, the more quality of life is impaired.
Why Take the DLQI Survey?
There are compelling reasons to take the DLQI survey - actually, three. First, it provides a score that quantifies how much your condition affects your quality of life.
Second, your anonymous responses will contribute to aggregated data, allowing us to analyze and share insights with our readers once we gather enough responses.
Lastly, the survey is quick, taking only a couple of minutes to complete.
Interpreting Your Score
A score of 0–1: no effect at all on your life
A score of 2–5: small effect on your life
A score of 6–10: moderate effect on your life
A score of 11–20: very large effect on your life
A score of 21–30: extremely large effect on your life
